Pick any day in the history of this country and you will find a Scotsman or his descendant involved in the history of this nation and quite often one of them will be a member of our Association. It was on February 16, 1746 that government forces under Lord Louden attempted to capture Bonnie Prince Charlie at Moy Hall, home of the Clan Mackintosh Chiefs. Lady Anne Farquarharson-Mackintosh, a Jacobite supporter, was hosting Prince Charles Edward Stuart when she learned that government forces were on their way to capture him.
