On Monday,May 30th,  District Chief Anne Beel, paid an Official Visit to Kildonan Camp 166 in Vernon with seven members from the Lower Mainland taking the scenic drive.  In addition to District Chief’s Visit the Camp celebrated its Birthday.

On Sunday, May 29th, members of District 16 attended Knox Presbyterian Church in New Westminster.  David Irvine, Piper for Lord of the Isles Camp, piped in the delegation led by PGC Jim Bain, Grand Chieftain Murray Stewart, and District Chief Anne Beel.

Time to Tartan_UpTartan Stroll BC


The Sons of Scotland, BC District 16 continues it long standing support of the BC Branch of the Klidney Foundation with our participation in the Vancouver Kidney Walk/Tartan Stroll on Sunday, August 2, 10 am, at the Creekside Community Centre (formerly Olympic Athletes Village).


The Sons of Scotland is on hand to Tartan_Up the event and provide the Scottish flair and flavour that makes it truly a unique experience. To ensure the Scottish flavour their will pipers and dancers and of course – kilts.


You can assist this cause by either participating in the Stroll or by donating to the event.  If you attend, please try and wear “a little bit of tartan”.  If you wish to support the event with a donation you can do so through the Kidney Foundation website
